TOYS is the title of the exhibition that will be inaugurated at the spaces of the Bianca Pilat Cultural Association on 15 December 2022. The exhibition, as recalled by the curator, Maria Mancini, intends to stimulate reflection on playful art and toys.
The toy, icon of childhood, for its mass distribution becomes for many artists a metaphor to tell themselves as adults in a new lightness. The toy with its captivating shapes and colors and the game with its procedures and developments become subjects and objects of works of art based on reinvention, reinterpretation and quotation. Toys is a heterogeneous exhibition itinerary with elements to contemplate, to touch, to discover, combinable with each other to interact with in a free and intuitive way, free from any classification of artistic category. The exhibition is accompanied by a limited edition catalog with the critical contribution of Gabriele Perretta.
